(b) when you wish to buy or utilise any of our products or services.

(d) details of any animals and associated competitors for which you have responsibility to enter events via our Event Partners.

(a) to identify you as a registered user of our website and to allow you to post messages on our forum;

2.2. The Show Register and its Event Partners

Acting as an Agent for Shows and Events, The Show Register facilitates entries to competitions on behalf of the venue or Organisers that produces the event for which you purchase an entry. We refer to the venue or Organiser from whom we facilitate entries on your behalf as our "Event Partner". Your personal information is shared between The Show Register and its Event Partner for the particular event for which you are purchasing an entry in accordance with this Privacy Policy and The Show Register’s contractual relationship with its Event Partner. Your personal information is used by us to contact you by post, phone or by email when necessary in connection with transactions entered into by you on the Site.

From time to time, The Show Register or its Event Partner may contact you by phone, post or by email, with information or offers regarding upcoming events, products, services or customer surveys. If you do not wish to be contacted by The Show Register or its Event Partner about upcoming events, products, services or surveys please contact The Show Register by emailing members@theshowregister.com, or send your request by post to The Show Register, 2nd Floor, Luther Bouch House, 126 High Street, Uxbridge UB8 1JT.

2.3. General Information

Any information or statistics relating to our business that we disclose to others shall not identify you personally. We may, for example, perform statistical analyses of the behaviour of the users of our website in order to measure interest in the various areas of our site and to tell advertisers how many users of our website have seen or "clicked" their advertising banners. This information, and any other general information about our users that we share with advertisers and other partners, will not disclose personal information about you.

Your personal information will be passed on to a successor in interest in the event of a liquidation or administration of The Show Register.

We shall comply with the following restrictions in relation to your personal information.

(a) We shall not sell your personal data to anyone else, though with your permission we may rent it for limited use or contact you by post or email on behalf of other carefully selected companies. You can switch your permission on and off on your 'My Details' page.
(b) Subject to the exception in point 2.4(e) above, we shall not supply your personal data to anyone else so that they can use it for their own purposes.

3. How We Use Financial Information

Financial information that is collected is used to authorise payment and bill you for products and services. When you make a purchase on the Site, your consent is given to provide your financial or personal information to those third parties necessary to process your transactions with us, such as credit card companies, banks and the companies that handle shipping on our behalf. If you wish to make a payment, you will be automatically directed to our secure sever. Your payment details will be processed by our card-processing partner, Protx. We will not pass on any information to Protx other than that required to facilitate your transaction. All information supplied to Protx shall be governed by their data protection and privacy policy.
